Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, is urging his team to bounce back after their embarrassing 7-0 defeat to Liverpool.

The defeat was a reality check for the team, who had just won their first silverware in six years and had only lost one game out of their last 22. The team had been on a high after beating Newcastle to win the League Cup and had even defeated Barcelona in the Europa League.

However, the loss to Liverpool has put an end to any talk of a potential quadruple and has left the team 14 points behind the leaders Arsenal and well adrift of second-placed Manchester City. Ten Hag was critical of his team’s performance, describing it as “unprofessional” and “unacceptable”.
