Ghana Footballer Found Dead in Turkey

Turkey- The agent of former Premier League footballer Christian Atsu has confirmed that he was found dead almost two weeks after the earthquake in Turkey.

Atsu, a Ghanaian player who had previously played for Chelsea and Newcastle, had joined Turkish club Hatayspor in September and was believed to have been living in a complex in Antakya which collapsed during the earthquake, causing the death of hundreds of people.

According to the club manager, Atsu had planned to leave Turkey just before the earthquake but decided to stay after scoring an important goal for his team. His agent announced on Saturday that Atsu’s body had been discovered 11 days after the devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
