Rema tops most viewed

With his top-charting song, “Calm Down,” Afrobeats musician Rema has climbed to the top of YouTube’s list of 2022’s most-watched Nigerian music videos.

The list, which was published on Friday, was put together by renowned data intelligence and digital eco-system firm Dataleum.

The list, which examined YouTube views for official music videos posted in 2022, showed that Rema’s “Calm Down” video almost reached 300 million views.

The songs “Last Last” by Burna Boy, with over 140 million views, and “Buga” by Kizz Daniel, with 107 million views each, came in second and third place, respectively
