American Actress Passes Away at 82

Raquel Welch, the American actress who achieved global fame after appearing in a deerskin bikini in One Million Years BC, has died at the age of 82, according to her manager. In an email statement to AFP, her manager announced that Welch had “passed away peacefully” after a brief illness, but did not provide any additional information.

Welch was a Golden Globe winner and appeared in over 30 films, including Fantastic Voyage and The Three Musketeers, as well as approximately 50 television series, during a career that spanned five decades.
