Twitter Technical Difficulties

Twitter faced technical difficulties on Wednesday, which prevented some users from being able to tweet. The platform displayed a message stating that the users were over the daily limit for sending tweets.

The outage was reported by DownDetector just before 22:00 GMT. Despite the outage, some users were soon able to tweet again. However, some account holders reported difficulties with Twitter messages and accessing TweetDeck. The cause of the technical issue is unclear, but experts have warned that the significant cuts in Twitter’s workforce over the past few months, following Elon Musk’s acquisition of the platform, could lead to technical problems.

Twitter has acknowledged the issue and is working to resolve it. There have also been recent reports of bugs while using the platform, including claims that users could increase the reach of tweets by locking their accounts. Twitter has also announced that users of its $8 monthly subscription service in the US can now post longer tweets.
