Twitter Logo Changed

Elon Musk has recently made a significant alteration to Twitter’s logo, replacing the well-known blue bird with a simple black-and-white “X.” This move comes as one of the major changes since his acquisition of the company for a staggering $44 billion the previous year.

On Monday, Musk shared a picture of the “X” projected on Twitter’s San Francisco headquarters, marking the official introduction of the new logo on the desktop version of the platform. However, the bird logo still retains its prominence on the mobile app.

The decision to change the logo was announced by Musk through a series of Tweets over the weekend. He unveiled the new “X” logo and even invited users to create alternative designs, proposing that if any design is “good enough,” it could become the new global logo.

Musk expressed his plans for the future, stating on his Twitter account Sunday, “And soon we shall bid adieu to the Twitter brand and gradually phase out all the birds.”
