Trump Suspension Lifted

According to a statement by Meta, the suspension of former US President Donald Trump across its two most important platforms, Facebook and Instagram, will end soon.

In a blog post published on Wednesday night by Meta’s president of global affairs, Nick Clegg, the social media behemoth announced this.

According to Clegg, “We have evaluated the current environment in accordance with our Crisis Policy Protocol, which included looking at the conduct of the US 2022 midterm elections and expert assessments on the current security environment, to assess whether the serious risk to public safety that existed in January 2021 has sufficiently subsided.
