Threads App Surges in Popularity

Earlier this week, Mark Zuckerberg, an American business magnate and the owner of Facebook and Instagram, introduced a new app called Threads, which resembles Twitter in its functionality.

Instagram’s Threads app became available on both Apple and Android app stores across 100 countries. Users can conveniently sign up for Threads directly from their Instagram accounts. Screenshots from the App Store listing reveal that Threads allows users to create text-based posts that can be liked, shared, and commented on, much like Twitter.

Remarkably, the app has surged in popularity, surpassing other social networking apps and accumulating over 100 million downloads within just 24 hours. Mark Zuckerberg himself announced this impressive milestone. The developer of Threads describes it as a platform where communities gather to engage in discussions ranging from current topics of interest to upcoming trends.
