Sports Minister Zizi Kodwa Faces Court Over R1.6 Million Bribery Allegations

South African Sports Minister Zizi Kodwa is set to appear in court on corruption charges, accused of receiving R1.6 million in bribes from a businessman.

The charges stem from businessman and former EOH boss Jehan Mackay implicating Kodwa in the state capture commission, chaired by Chief Justice Raymond Zondo.

At the time, Mackay alleged that Kodwa accepted “bribes” from him totaling about R1.7 million
