Real Madrid defeated Valencia with 10 men on the field to give Barcelona’s La Liga lead to five points.

In the 52nd minute, Marco Asensio’s breathtaking left-footed strike gave Los Blancos the lead.

Two minutes later, Brazilian forward Vinicius Jr. scored his team’s second goal to mark his 200th Real appearance.

In the 72nd minute, Gabriel Paulista was given a red card for the visitors for kicking Vinicius.
