Police Brutality – Tyre Nichols

USA – Tyre Nichols was punched and kicked while being held, as seen in the recently made public footage of his police assault. His family and officials had before warned of this cruelty. He cried out for his mother constantly and begged to go home.

Nichols was left slumped and unmoving against a car following the attack, and the 29-year-old was disregarded by officers roaming the area.

The videos are made up of three brief body camera footage and a longer, around 31-minute video from a utility pole camera that appears to document the majority of the fighting that took place close to Nichols’ house.

The recordings depict a portion of the initial traffic stop on January 7, 2023, as well as a second altercation that occurred only a short time later after Nichols left the first location on foot. Nichols required hospitalization after the encounter and died on January 10.
