Milan Pursues Chukwueze

Reports from Italy indicate that Milan is prepared to sign Samuel Chukwueze and will initiate negotiations with Villarreal in the coming days. Milan is aiming to strengthen their frontline this summer by acquiring a new right winger who can enhance their attacking capabilities. Chukwueze is the primary target for Milan, as they believe he possesses the necessary qualities to make a significant impact, including pace, power, creativity, and finishing.

According to Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Milan has already reached a verbal agreement with Chukwueze on both his salary and the length of the contract. Now, they will contact Villarreal to begin negotiations. The Spanish club has set a price tag of €30 million for the 24-year-old, who has one year remaining on his contract.

Milan plans to commence talks with an initial offer of €20 million and is willing to increase the amount through additional incentives. However, reports from Spain suggest that Villarreal will only allow Chukwueze to leave if the demand of at least €25 million plus bonuses is met.

Chukwueze had an impressive season under the guidance of Villarreal coach Quique Setién, scoring 13 goals and providing 11 assists last term.
