Late Zimbabwe’s President’s Son Arrested

Zimbabwe – Last Sunday, Robert Mugabe junior became angry and accused his friend’s gardener of urinating on the wheels of his car. Allegedly, he then went on a rampage to vandalize high-end cars and other property.
As a result, Mugabe spent Sunday night at Avondale police station in Harare and was later charged with malicious damage to property. The complainant in this case was his friend, Sindiso Nkathazo, and the estimated value of the damage caused was approximately US$12,000 (around R217,000).
According to the police report, Mugabe had a heated argument with his friend’s gardener, who fled when he realized that Mugabe was angry.
In a fit of rage, Mugabe allegedly broke the windscreen of a Mercedes Benz CLS and a Mercedes Benz E350D, and also damaged various other items such as windows and household electrical gadgets. Mugabe’s appeared in court to face the charges was on Monday afternoon.
