KLM Unrest Alert in Africa

Following the publication of the airline’s alert warning of travel disruptions due to alleged civil disturbances in the two countries, the governments of Kenya and Tanzania have criticized KLM for spreading “unfounded” rumors.

Prior to changing its advisory to refer to an undefined “local danger in Tanzania,” the airline had stated that “civil upheaval” between Friday and Monday may likely force aircraft cancellations.
