India Train Crash: Death Toll Rises

According to officials, a train accident in India has resulted in the deaths of over 200 individuals, with numerous others sustaining injuries.

The incident took place in Odisha, an eastern state, on Friday evening and involved three trains. Pradeep Jena, the Chief Secretary of Odisha, stated that several carriages of a passenger train derailed during the mishap.

Jena further reported on social media that the death toll has risen to 275 people as of Sunday. According to the Special Relief Organization’s report, approximately 900 individuals were injured in the collision.
