Homeless man hands in 2000 Euro

Hadjer Al-Ali, a homeless man in The Hague, demonstrated remarkable honesty when he found a wallet containing approximately 2,000 euros on an empty train at Amsterdam Central Station. Despite his own challenging circumstances, he chose to turn in the wallet to the police. Unfortunately, the wallet didn’t contain any identity papers or information to contact the owner. In recognition of his integrity, authorities awarded him a “silver thumb” prize and a 50-euro gift voucher
