Harvey Weinstein in Hospital

“Following the overturning of his 2020 conviction on sex crime charges by New York’s highest court, disgraced Hollywood movie mogul Harvey Weinstein was admitted to a hospital upon his return to New York.

This unexpected 4-3 decision marked a surprising turn in one of the key cases of the #MeToo movement. However, Weinstein remains incarcerated due to a separate 16-year rape sentence issued in California.

Arthur L Aidala, Weinstein’s lawyer, informed AFP that the New York City Department of Corrections determined Weinstein required immediate medical attention. He stated that Weinstein is undergoing a series of tests and is currently under observation.”
