Grapes lovers being robbed

Cape Town – There have been increasing number of complaints of motorists being robbed along the N1 highway in Boland Town as the grape harvesting season is well underway.

Drivers have been cautioned not to stop along the N1 motorway near Worcester in the Western Cape by De Doorns police to buy grapes.

The grapes are allegedly taken from surrounding fields and sold on the motorway.

Police said they have deployed patrol vehicles to stop the robberies and are looking into any cases that have been reported
