Gangsters terrorising residents

Hanover Park residents in Cape Town said they are sick and tired of hiding inside their houses when neighborhood thugs decide to open fire at random.

Now they want the government to get involved.

The neighborhood is mostly recognized for its gangsterism, drug use, and murders, with an uptick in new gang activity occurring virtually monthly.

Three murders that occurred nearby over the weekend prompted the police and City of Cape Town law enforcement officers to increase patrols.
