Fuel to go up in SA

Petrol prices are set to rise by 37 cents per litre starting Wednesday, while wholesale diesel prices will decrease by 30 cents per litre for 0.05% sulfur content and by 36 cents per litre for 0.005% sulfur content. In Gauteng, petrol will be priced at R25.49 per litre, while on the coast it will be R24.70, reaching levels not seen since October 2023.

On the contrary, diesel prices are dropping to their lowest levels since February this year. The wholesale price of diesel will be R22.15 per litre in Gauteng and R21.36 on the coast.

Additionally, the wholesale price of illuminating paraffin will see a reduction of 19 cents per litre.
