Fox News Ends Tucker’s Contract

Without stating a reason for his departure, Fox News has suddenly ended their partnership with influential conservative commentator Tucker Carlson, according to a statement released by the media company.

The statement expressed appreciation for Carlson’s contributions and announced that his last show aired on April 21st. Carlson was a highly-watched cable news host known for his show “Tucker Carlson Tonight”, which will now be temporarily replaced by a program called “Fox News Tonight” featuring various Fox News personalities.

Carlson’s right-wing populist views, including his criticism of US aid to Ukraine, align with those of former President Donald Trump. However, Carlson has also faced accusations of racism due to his anti-immigrant comments and promotion of the “great replacement” theory, in which he argues that Democrats seek to bring new immigrants to the US to bolster their electoral prospects.
