DR FRENE GINWALA PASSES AWAY

South Africa – Dr. Frene Ginwala passed away at home on January 12 at night at 90. She was the first Speaker of the democratic parliament of South Africa from 1994 to 2004. According to the Presidency, Ginwala had a stroke two weeks prior to her passing. On Friday, Ginwala’s family, her nephews Cyrus, Sohrab, and Zavareh, as well as their families, received a condolence message from President Cyril Ramaphosa.
