Bus Crash in Western Canada

A passenger bus crashed over in western Canada, killing four passengers and injuring scores more. Authorities said on Sunday that slick roads were probably to blame.

The incident happened on a highway on Saturday night about 330 kilometers (200 miles) east of Vancouver in a region of British Columbia that has been experiencing terrible winter weather for days.

According to the provincial health authority, a total of 53 persons were treated in hospitals following the accident, with 36 suffering from “severe to light” wounds.
