During Macron’s visit to Brazil spanning three days, the 46-year-old leader was captured on camera beaming and warmly embracing the 78-year-old Lula amidst their excursion to the Amazonian rainforest.

One particular image, depicting the leaders raising their arms beneath a towering tree, has been digitally altered to portray them holding heart-shaped red balloons.

Another image portrays the duo hand in hand, sharing smiles as they gaze towards the horizon while drifting in a boat along the Amazon River.

“There’s talk of a wedding in the Amazon followed by a honeymoon in Paris,” quipped one user on X, while others suggested that the snapshots from the trip could comprise a wedding album.
