Boeing Chooses Ethiopia for Africa Headquarters

Boeing has chosen Ethiopia as the location for its new Africa headquarters, favoring it over Kenya and South Africa. This decision is based on Ethiopia’s exemplary aviation safety record and its existing relationship with Boeing dating back to 2009.

Last year, Boeing even approached Ethiopia for a $15 million investment in manufacturing basic components for airline seats. Additionally, Ethiopian Airlines’ profitability and outstanding safety record further strengthen the business case.
