Beyoncé Supports Nigerian Restaurant

Beyoncé, the renowned American singer, has generously donated £8,000 to a Nigerian-owned restaurant located in North London. This act of kindness is part of the Black Parade Small Business Impact Luncheon organized by Beyoncé’s BeyGood Foundation.

The luncheon aims to recognize and support businesses that have been affected by economic disparities worldwide. Beyoncé has committed a total of £806,400 to aid these businesses, with Chuku’s restaurant in Tottenham being selected as one of the ten grant recipients.

Emeka Frederick, co-founder of Chuku’s, expressed his gratitude for the grant, highlighting the challenging circumstances faced by restaurants without financial reserves due to lockdowns and the rising cost of living. The luncheon, held at the Four Seasons in Tower Hill, brought together more than 100 entrepreneurs who had the opportunity to compete for a total of £806,000 in prizes.
