Assassination Attempt on Slovak PM

Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico was shot and wounded in an apparent assassination attempt on Wednesday. He was outside a community center when the incident occurred.

Fico was airlifted to a nearby hospital and is currently in a life-threatening condition. According to local reports, he was hit in the stomach, arm, and leg. The alleged assailant has been detained by the police.
