Arab and US officials Calls to Sudan

According to an army statement, Sudan’s army chief General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan received phone calls from various officials, including the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United States, as well as the Turkish president and the Egyptian intelligence chief, during efforts to establish an Eid truce.

The calls, which also included messages from the leaders of South Sudan and Ethiopia and the UN secretary-general, emphasized the importance of ending the violence and turning to peaceful dialogue.
