A tornado hits KZN , South Africa

“Heavy rains in parts of South Africa have resulted in the deaths of at least five people in KwaZulu-Natal. The fatalities were recorded on Monday in eThekwini, where roads have been swamped. 

The severe weather also led to extensive damage to households and infrastructure in the eThekwini metro, which has been hardest hit. The strong winds affected communities in various districts, including Amajuba and Umzinyathi, where houses were damaged. Disaster relief efforts are underway, with teams providing immediate assistance to affected residents and assessing the extent of damages.
